Rules & Regulations

Registration & General Information

  • Check-in is 2pm.
  • Check-out is 11am.
  • You must be 18 years of age or older to register a campsite and whoever registers is responsible for all guests and pets in the campsite.
  • A maximum of 8 persons are permitted per campsite.
  • Tents are permitted on gravel only.
  • Underground sprinklers operate between the hours of 1am - 8am with no warning. Please ensure belongings are off the grass.
  • Absolutely no permanent structures are permitted (i.e. decks, fencing, storage sheds, privacy screens etc.)
  • Skirting is permitted October 1st to May 15th, weather depending. All skirting must be approved by Owl's Nest Campground prior to being installed.


Site Cleanliness

  • Please deposit all garbage in marked receptacles.
  • Two garbage containers are located near the picnic shelter as well as a dumpster in the SE corner of the campground.
  • Sites left untidy (including garbage in firepits) may result in a cleaning fee of $75.


Motor Vehicles

  • Please drive cautiously while in the park and obey the 10km/h speed limit. Children may be playing in the area and the campground roads are often used as pathways
  • Keep all vehicles on designated roadways for everyone's safety and to prevent damage to vegetation.
  • A maximum of two vehicles and one recreational vehicle are permitted per site. Any additional vehicles can be parked in the extra parking stalls located SW of the picnic shelter.


Pets

  • No more than two pets are permitted per campsite.
  • All pets must remain on a leash and be picked up after at all times.
  • Please dispose of any pet waste in marked receptacles.


Quite Time

  • Quite hours are from 11:00pm to 7:00am (Town of Coaldale bylaw). Loud music and other disruptive behavior will not be tolerated at any time.
  • The use of generators is not permitted at any time.


Eviction

  • Owl's Nest Campground reserves the right to evict a guest(s) at any time, if our rules/regulations are not followed.
  • Failure to comply to our rules/regulations will result in the guests' vehicle(s) being towed at their own expense.
